Information You Actively Submit for AI Features
- AI Insight (Growth Journal) — You may input text descriptions or upload photos of your cat's daily events. This data is sent to our servers to generate AI feedback and suggestions.
- AI Assistant (Q&A, Health Guidance) — You submit text queries to receive AI-generated responses. No queries are stored beyond immediate processing.
- Creative Studio (Cat ID Photo, 3D Figurine, Plush Toy) — You upload photos of your cat for AI processing and image generation. Images are not retained after delivery.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information — Non-identifying data such as device model, OS version, and unique device identifiers, used to ensure App compatibility and performance.
- Usage Data — Anonymised data about features accessed and general usage patterns, used to improve the App without identifying you personally.
- Log Data — Technical information such as IP address and request timestamps, used for App maintenance and security.
Information from Third-Party AI Services
- Third-Party AI Models — The App uses third-party AI models (large language models, image generation models) to power AI Assistant and Creative Studio. Your explicitly submitted input is processed by these services. We do not transmit personal identifiers alongside this content.

- To fulfil your AI requests — Processing submitted text and images for AI Assistant responses and Creative Studio generations as explicitly requested.
- To provide AI-driven insights — Analysing journal entries and photos via AI Insight to offer personalised feedback for your cat.
- To improve the App — Using anonymised usage data to identify trends, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- For security and fraud prevention — Protecting the integrity of the App and its users.

03How We Share Your Information
- Third-Party AI Service Providers — Your submitted input is sent to third-party AI models to generate responses or images. Content sent to these models may be used by providers to improve their systems. We use reputable providers and do not link your content to any personal identifier.
- Service Providers — Third-party companies facilitating App infrastructure (e.g., hosting, analytics) may access data only to perform tasks on our behalf, under strict confidentiality obligations.

04Data Retention
We do not store your submitted text queries or uploaded images on our servers after AI processing is complete and the response has been delivered. If you choose to save AI-generated content within the App, it is stored locally on your device. Anonymised usage data may be retained for App improvement purposes.
05Your Choices & Rights
- Data submission — You control what you submit to AI features. By submitting, you consent to processing for the intended functionality.
- Local data — Your cat's profile and growth journal entries are stored locally on your device. You can manage or delete this data directly within the App.
- Access & deletion — As we do not retain personal data beyond immediate AI processing, server-side deletion requests are not applicable to AI feature content. For other concerns, please contact us.
06Security
We use industry-standard security technologies and procedures to protect your information during transmission and AI processing. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
07Children's Privacy
Cathena is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection without parental consent, we will promptly remove that information from our servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
