Welcome to CatVerse! These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the CatVerse mobile application and related services provided by CatVerse Lab ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
01 App Usage & Cat Safety
CatVerse is designed to provide visual and audio entertainment for your feline friends. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Supervision is Required: You should always supervise your cat while they are interacting with the App. Do not leave your device unattended with your pet.
- Device Protection: Cats have claws. We strongly recommend using a high-quality, scratch-resistant screen protector and a durable case while allowing your cat to play.
02 Intellectual Property
All content within the Application, including but not limited to the graphics (laser pointers, mice, birds, fish, etc.), animations, sound effects, music, and underlying code, are the exclusive intellectual property of CatVerse Lab. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Application.
03 User Conduct
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You agree not to:
- Use the App in any unlawful manner or for any illegal purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or disrupt the App's normal functioning.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices contained within the App.
04 In-App Purchases
CatVerse may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions to unlock additional features or remove advertisements. All payments are processed through the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Refund policies for these purchases are strictly subject to the terms and conditions set by the platform where the purchase was made.
05 Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no guarantees that the App will function perfectly, without interruptions, or be entirely error-free on all devices. Additionally, as every cat has a unique personality, we do not guarantee that your pet will be interested in or interact with the content provided.
06 Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.). Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts located in Taiwan.
07 Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
